(1726-1795) Прескотт, Уильям
Полковник Континентальной армии [Continental Army]. Командовал ополчением [militia] в сражении при Банкер-Хилле [Bunker Hill, Battle of] (1775), участвовал в сражениях за Лонг-Айленд [Long Island, Battle of] (1776) и Саратогу [Saratoga, Battle of]. Его скульптурное изображение установлено на холме Банкер-Хилл. Дед историка Уильяма Х. Прескотта [Prescott, William Hickling]
